Silver KAVB pin and Golden Federation pin Cees van Roon
During his farewell reception, Cees van Roon was thanked by KAVB and Anthos for the extensive work he has done entirely voluntarily for both organizations.
At the KAVB, Van Roon was a member of the Special Bulb Crops subcommittee of the Nomenclature and Flower Inspection Commission for many years. His enormous knowledge of the assortment was highly valued there. In addition, Van Roon was part of the KAVB Special Bulb Crops product group for two periods and was active for the KAVB Haarlem department. For all this dedication, the KAVB awarded him the Silver KAVB pin.
At Anthos, Van Roon was involved in the Purchasing Contact Committee and the discussion about wild bulbs. In addition, Van Roon was particularly committed to a good implementation of the quality mark for the dry sale of flower bulbs, especially where the dimensions for special bulb crops were concerned.
